Katelyn Duron, CEO & Founder
As the founder of DuroSec, Katelyn Duron brings over a decade of expertise in bookkeeping, management accounting, and financial leadership to help businesses thrive. A proven Chief Financial Officer and experienced consultant, Katelyn has led accounting operations for companies across federal government contracting, construction, IT, security, manufacturing, and professional services.
Her career spans high-impact roles, including CFO and Controller positions, where she oversaw full-cycle accounting, developed strategic budgets, managed government contract compliance, and implemented financial systems that streamlined operations and reduced costs. Katelyn’s deep knowledge of government accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and indirect rate strategies enables her to provide clients with actionable insights that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
With a track record of building strong teams, preventing financial crises, and guiding businesses through audits and complex transactions, Katelyn is committed to delivering precision, transparency, and value. Jessica Flores, COO & Founder
Jessica Flores is a seasoned accounting professional with over a decade of experience spanning corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors. With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University and multiple certifications in project management, freight brokerage, and clinical research coordination, Jessica brings a diverse and well-rounded skill set to DuroSec.
Her career includes senior-level roles managing full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and federal regulations. Jessica has extensive expertise in billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and audit coordination, as well as implementing process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency. She has supported organizations in industries such as government contracting, telecommunications, healthcare, and research, and holds a current Secret Security Clearance.
Jessica’s background also includes leadership and service as a U.S. Navy Reserve Gunner’s Mate, demonstrating her commitment to discipline, teamwork, and mission success. At DuroSec, she leverages her bilingual skills, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail to provide clients with accurate financial data, insightful analysis, and dependable support for their operational goals.
